April Blog!!!

I honestly don’t know how to begin this….I doubt any of us could have imagined what the world is going through right now. What a site it was to see the USNS Ship Comfort head into New York City- it really gave me chills! What I do know is that we are resilient and will get through this together – and emerge better and stronger than ever!
I’ve been hearing everyone is loving following us on social media and all the wonderful fashions for Spring and Summer. If you’re like me, trying to retain some semblance of normalcy has helped me get through each day – and dressing (although definitely on the casual side) and putting on a bit of makeup is a sure pick-me-up!
Here are just a few ideas for all of our casual needs these days.
Perfect timing- our basic tees and tanks have just arrived! Classic v necks, tank tops or a baby crew in an assortment of colors is going to be your go to for these weeks of “dress down” days!
Great to throw on with this fun Sundry short.
And I’m sure everyone is finally binge watching all those shows we’ve meant to catch up on. I’m really into foreign sub-titles right now and am just finishing Season 2 of “Thou Shalt NotKill” set in Turin, Italy. Cozying up on the couch in this Nili Lotan hoodie with a bowl of popcorn and a glass of wine is getting to be addictive- and perfect after crossing another project off my list!
Luckily my husband is a gourmet cook , so I’m getting spoiled with his delicious cooking every night! With all the days running together, I’m trying to make the weekends still feel like a weekend so I love our Friday night dinners! Putting on this Xirena dress
and the newest color of my Tkees sandal is the perfect way to end the day.
We miss seeing your smiling faces but remember, we’re only a click away! Feel free to email us at info@deborahjames.com. - and we’d love to see you in your favorite “stay at home” DJ gear, send a pic!

On a final note, this crisis has affected us all on some level – but especially the underprivileged kids who rely on their schools to provide breakfast and lunch. No Kid Hungry is a wonderful organization that always does amazing work, but especially in times like these. Please join me in helping if you can!
