Looking out the window as I’m flying out of MIA on my way to Paris for Fashion Week, it’s hard to believe the growth of South Beach over the past decade. South Florida has thrived soo, it just emphasizes how change is constant – just as is Fashion!
Nothing is better on a hot day than a fun, printed, flowy skirt…and Xirena brings it on with this one. Throw on an easy tank top, Homer sandal and you’re ready to go.
And for those short lovers, I haven’t forgotton you! Perfect for a casual al fresco dinner, this belted cuffed short from Sea is a definite go-to. Paired with a pretty off shoulder top and platform sandal – you’ll be oh so stylish (and comfortable too)! Casual day? Step into a Calleen Cordero sandal and throw on a tee!
I’m always on the hunt for that special, sophisticated top. Italian label Roi du Lac utilizes the symbolism of flowers from pre-Cortez Mexico to create stunning classics. Whether paired with a classic Moussy white jean for a casual vibe or dressed up with a wide leg Peter Cohen pant…this piece is sure to be enjoyed time and time again.
….and with Spring come invites to those happy, festive occasions - the wedding on the beach, the graduation celebration by the pool or that special birthday party. Nothing puts me in the mood more than a beautiful, feminine dress. This tiered, ruffle dress in the most glorious shade of teal from Icelandic designer Matthildur is just perfect!
Hats scream summer fun! This easy, slightly floppy hat with fun ribbon detail from Lola is sure to get a lot of wear this summer. Whether I’m running around town or it’s protecting me from the sun at the beach, I have a feeling it’s going to be the one I grab!
My pop color of choice this season? Anything in shades of ochre becomes the new neutral. This rouched leather sandal from Gidigio is going to go with practically anything in my closet!
Now a fun fact – did you know March is National Optimism Month? With all the craziness in the world, I think it’s the perfect time for us to take a moment and reflect on how positivity not only affects our health and well- being, but the energy we help to create. So let’s all commit to not only looking fantastic but feeling fantastic as we head into Spring!
Thanks, Deborah for your tips. These are beautiful and perfect for South Florida. Look forward to seeing these spring arrivals in the store. Stay safe and germ free.
