Happy New Year! 

I know - it just seems the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s flies by in a blink!

Wherever you were and how ever you celebrated, I hope the holidays were whatever you wanted them to be!

Now we can slow down and start to enjoy the most beautiful time of the year in Florida (if you’re lucky enough to be here).  If not, book that plane ticket now!

We’ve had some exciting events in the stores for December - and that’s just the beginning of all the wonderful plans we have for the season!

Ana and Mimi from NRK started off the month with their wonderful collection of unstructured, easy to wear pieces. 

Priding herself on using new technology for repurposing fabrics, Ana envisions her pieces to be an extension of the wearer's attitude! 

Speaking of attitude, isn’t this embroidered peacock motif a show stopper?

Then we were honored to host Sabrina and Mirko from the gorgeous Italian line Avant Toi.  Converting our store into an Avant Toi wonderland with not only our gorgeous new arrivals but an amazing installation of their decorative home pieces - from pillows to wall hangings and rugs- Avant Toi’s hand painted pieces are works of art.

 If you’re not familiar, here’s a little background on Avant Toi. For over 20 years, Mirko Ghignone has been channeling his artistic talents with his love of explosive color to experiment with applying air brushing techniques to silks, cashmeres and linens to create one of a kind works of art.  When you select a piece from Avant Toi’s collection, you truly feel like you are wearing a masterpiece!

For all our R13 fans, I know you had a field day during our week of R13!  If  you were lucky enough to snatch up the Boy Straight in muted gold,

pair it with a cozy Minnie Rose v neck cashmere

and throw on Forte’s bomber with fur trim.

Officine Creative’s boot is the finishing touch. Such a fun look!

Want to be able to dress it up for a fun night?  Opt for a silky blouse - balance the grunge of the jean with the primness of this blouse from Nili Lotan

 L'agence can always be counted on to offer denim with a bit of a twist.  For a bit of a higher waist, choose Brooklyn - a wide leg utility pant.

Just add  a Revel tee for a pop of color.  

For a new take on a denim jacket, L'agence offers this collarless, silver button option. Definitely a fresh take on a classic!

We finished up the month of  December with a fantastic event with California designer Giovanni Contrada. Known for his creativeness in reconstructing older pieces which he hand dyes, the assortment of blazers and vests is a unique way to show some confidence in your style!
