Can you believe we’ve entered a new decade? I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and are ready for a fantastic New Year! Mine has started off on a high note – I became a grandmother! We are so excited to welcome Maclarren Douglas Shuart into the family and look forward to all the amazing firsts to come.
Now that we survived the holidays and all the fun chaos that comes with them, we can slow down a bit and look forward to all the beautiful Spring fashions….such a great way to survive the cold, dreary days of winter by shopping all the beautiful Spring colors that are already in the stores!
As you know, I’m a huge fan of Xirena – this line out of California is perfect for our Florida lifestyle.
The cottons are so cool and comfortable and the colors and stripes just effortless and carefree. Pair with your Nili Lotan Jenna pant or a pair of your Moussy jeans.
Another favorite is Trovata – an artful blend of West Coast summer stories and sun faded aristocratic elegance translates perfectly to our East Coast! Whether a fun print or a solid in their sumptuous cotton, you’re sure to live in them this Spring or pack them for that terrific Spring vacation.
And what is sexier than a bare shoulder? Forte Forte’s beautiful striped blouse paired with a fantastic high waisted pant from Sea is the epitome of Florida chic.
Dress the blouse down with a boyfriend jean from R13 and pair the pant with a fun tee from Sundry. Never forget all the options you have when you invest in great separates!
Originally from S Africa and now based in California, Peter Cohen’s striking silhouettes generate awe by radiating simplistic , genuine beauty with his use of luxury fabrics. Whether it’s his elegant Swathe tank paired with a bias skirt or a show stopping wrap dress in the hottest of pinks, you’ll never feel more confident.
Just wait until you see all the wonderful shoes, sandals and open toe booties coming in for Spring. One of the first to hit the stores is this refined, pointed slide from Zero Maria Cornejo. Pair it with a great jumpsuit, boho dress or even a pair of wide leg pants. Another designer we love is Pedro Garcia. Always known for traditional craftsmanship juxtaposed with avant-garde fashion, who doesn’t love a shoe that not only makes a statement but is also comfortable?
And last but not least- our take on heavy metal! If you missed our wonderful event with California designer Brianna Erin from Tat2, stop in the stores to see her wonderful new collection of mixed metals including a wide assortment of coin inspired necklaces. Any type of ornamentation is huge for this season, and Suzi Roher continues the trend with this fabulous ornamental chain belt! Whether worn with a Mason trouser, jeans or even as a necklace – it’s a true statement piece!
So here’s to 2020 – great fun, great fashion and only good things to come!
