February blog

I bet you’re happy you have our wonderful sweaters in your closet! I moved away from this weather, but I have to admit I do love the cold fronts we get - temperatures below 70, blue skies, palm trees and an excuse to wear all my cozy sweaters, printed shawls and boots!
Sweaters do transition into Spring (yes, it’s coming) in lighter weights and beautiful prints (one of my key trends for Spring)! Italian brand In Bed with You always offers colorful pieces and wonderful prints

- many even reversible!

Paired perfectly back to this wonderful new brand from LA - Betro Simone. Daniel Guez, a veteran in the fashion industry, is known for his meticulous attention to detail and developing exceptional fabrics. This straight leg utility pant in a crisp white or soft blue is a fantastic look for a casual day

with Officine Creative’s Hadry open toe bootie in off white.

Minnie Rose is always a go to when it comes to knits! For a a retro vibe, I love this short sleeved pocketed collared knit.

Whether you wear it with the matching knit pant or Betro Simone’s Alexa wide leg jean- it’s a clean, classic look.

A cardigan is a must! This cotton blend v neck cardigan is a piece you will take with you anywhere. Especially in Florida where AC can be blasting, this can be thrown over anything you’re wearing and you’ll be prepared!

Or jump on the band wagon of shine and metallics with their cable cardi in their neutral shade of brown sugar.

Of course, we all have our favorite Moussy or R13 jeans in our closet, so adding a new lightweight cashmere to freshen up the look is a quick fix! This Minnie Rose raglan sleeve roll neck is perfect - their new softest shade of pink - Lotus- is a refreshing look for Spring!

If you have a problem with cashmere, this boxy cotton v neck is another great option!

Everyone is in the mood for happy and Miki Thumb’s Liberty fabric printed crinkle blouses are always a hit!

So many prints and colors, you’re sure to find one that speaks to you! Add that touch of pink for your Valentine’s Day celebration!

The Italian’s know how to bring it! Maurizio Massimino’s collections are always right on trend. Unique cuts, prints that are works of art but so wearable!

Slim fit cargo pants in beautiful florals, wide leg pants in fun stripes and blazers that are show stoppers - they are pieces that you will always have fun wearing!

Go for the menswear trend for Spring with Avenue Montaigne’s cuffed Ben trouser in some new stripes. You can’t ask for a piece in your wardrobe that will give you more versatility! Team up with a simple sweater, TWP blouse, or this waist trimming wrap blouse from A Shirt.

Pedro Garcia’s open back loafer continues the menswear vibe

or dress the look down with a Revel tee and 4 C’s comfy slide.

Forte Forte always brings the most beautiful textures and colors. This oversized blazer in soft, muted shades of dusty blues and pinks.

Perfect with a pair of your Moussy jeans.
The finishing touch? These fabulous new kitten heels from this amazing new line I found in Paris. Tres chic!

I hope you’ve made it in for some of our fabulous events the past few weeks- from the launch of Llea Blue’s linen collection, to Frank & Eileen’s new classics, the handpainted satins from Jaga or recently the ease of California designer Peter Cohen, we’ve been having a lot of fun!
The spring collection of Peter Cohen featured wearable new styles in their cotton broadcloth. Whether you rock the outfit or wear as separates, the pieces are the epitome of understated sophistication.

My go to? I love a dress and when it has an elbow sleeve - I’m in!

The wait is over! Spanish designer Laura B’s bags are just in and going out the door! With her gorgeous leather mixed with metallic mesh, her bags works of art you will treasure.

It’s that time of year, so keep an eye on your mailbox for our Spring newsletter - ready to be inspired!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all my DJ fashionistas!
