I know - don’t even say it! August is already here and summer has flown by.  I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer and have had a bit of time to slow down and unwind.  Steve and I have been coming to N. Carolina the past few summers and are so happy to have found this little slice of heaven!  

For everyone who has been eager for some newness and looking forward to Fall and some cooler weather, you’re in luck - at least in the wardrobe department!  New fall collections are starting to arrive - now we just have to wait a bit longer for the weather to catch up!

Some newness without jumping head on into Fall, Frank & Eileen offers a new twist on their Wexford by adding a utility vibe.  Choose from either Cement

   or Black to add a great basic to your closet that can take you straight into Fall. Any of your Revel tees are the perfect complement.

Amo’s Easy Army trouser- need I say more? Relaxed fit, ankle length and this gorgeous shade of Moss.  For now, just throw on one your HidnAnder sneakers and before you know it, you’ll be ready for a cute boot and sweater!

We can never have enough beautiful tops!  Liberty of London has over 50,000 pieces of artwork dating back to 1875 from which they create their beautiful textiles. Having fun patchworking Liberty of London fabrics into statement blouses, Miki Thumb’s crinkle blouses are works unto themselves. 

With soo many colorful choices, you’re sure to find one that you just have to have!

There’s always the need for a classic pant and Avenue Montaigne knows just how to add that little bit of a twist!  There’s nothing better than a pant that hugs you in all the right places.  This new narrow leg in a 4 way stretch is absolute perfection! So comfortable and the perfect pant to grab for a dinner out with this new Jaga ruffle front top.  The black lining of the placket and cuff just gives it that extra wow factor!  

For a more casual choice, go for the same style in a beautiful dark brown denim.

Summer is all about laid back, slowing down and relaxing, so even when I have to dress up a bit for a party or event - comfort is key!  

Peter Cohen is always my favorite stand by!  The  faux wrap Tide Top with their wide leg pant with asymmetrical back seam detail is always a hit - not to mention incredibly comfortable and fresh in white.  Just layer on some great necklaces.  And you know my opinions on separates, I’ll grab this top in a heartbeat to wear with my new R13 jeans!

A simple dress is a must and Jaga’s Mia dress in white isn’t just perfect for now.  I’ll throw on this lightweight R13 crop leather jacket and Ann Demeulmeester block heel sandal with metal ring detail for an entirely different look! 

We know that accessories are the finishing touch and Jack Gomme’s lightweight bags can’t be beat.  Lightweight, great colors and wonderful styles to choose from.  Whether you're a tote fan, cross body or classic shoulder bag, there’s a style for you!
